The Northern California section contains the sign companies for the cities of Including Freemont, Fresno, Modesto,
Oakland, Sacramento and San Hose.
Northern California information:
The excepted line between Northern and Southern California, expands from Death Valley on the
east, to Carmel Valley on the west coast. But don't look for a sign, you won't find one.
From Death Valley to Mount Shasta to the Pacific Ocean, every kind of climate and topography
can be found in Northern California. The region contains Sacramento, Yosemite, the Sierra Nevada, the Big Sur coastline, Lake
Tahoe, Napa Valley, and the most populace area, the San Francisco Bay area.
Napa and Sonoma counties now host over 400 wineries. There are many directional signs to help you find them as you drive.
The California Gold Rush changed the region and was quickly granted statehood.
The Golden Gate Bridge is the symbol for San Francisco. Completed in 1937, it spans over
4,000 feet and is the second longest suspension bridge in the United States.
Part of the charm of San Francisco are the cable cars. The San Francisco cable car system is
the world's last permanently operational manually-operated cable car system.
The 49-Mile Scenic Drive (also known as 49-Mile Drive) in and around San Francisco
highlights many of the city's major attractions and historic structures. The Drive is marked
by blue and white signs that lead you through the city.
Alcatraz (The Rock), now part of the National Park System, is home to the now abandoned
prison and the oldest operating lighthouse on the west coast.
